Always Ready - Blooming
Always Ready welcomes Blooming at the highest altitude stadium in the world – El Alto @ 4,150 m above sea level. Always Ready are the new team in the league and they haven`t started that well. They have just 0-3-2 so far with 7:11 gd. And with things not going so well thus far, the team has potential. Always Ready broke the bank with arrivals ad many see them as a dark horse of the competition. Probably not in this one but when they get acclimated they will be a handful for sure. The management acquired the Colombians: Fernando Copete, Juan Jose Mezu, Diego Armando Echeverri, the Chilean Raul Olivares, and the Bolivians Damir Miranda, Eder Jordan, Jorge Cuellar, Brian Hinojosa, and Fernando Adrián. Some are the ex Bolivar players which were marked by Bolivar but Aways Ready jumped ahead.
So far the results are far from good but I saw a few of their games and they are a force at home. At the El Alto, they played 2 games and drew both. With Wilsterman it was 2:2 and against San Jose 3:3. In both matches, they had a player expelled early in the match and the team had to fight hard to take a draw. Their tackles are reckless and it has cost them a lot so far. There is a serious lack of discipline in this team but they definitely can play and play well. It is not easy to score 5 goals with a player less on the field.
The team has huge crowd support in El Alto and a big stadium. They play at the synthetic pitch but it hasn`t helped them much against Wilsterman and San Jose. Both teams play at altitude.
Blooming doesn`t play at a high altitude but at 400 m above sea level. They struggle big time away from home and at altitude especially. Blooming is the 7`th team of the league with 2-1-2 and 7 points so far. They have some great wins against San Jose 5:1 and Bolivar 2:1 but both at home. Away from home, they lost to Club Destroyers and Nacional Potosi while drawing against Guabira 2:2.
Blooming has fond memories of Always Ready and they haven`t lost in 12 but that was 30 years ago. And Always was playing at a low. Blooming has big problems while traveling and they have lost 9 of the last 13 with also 4 draws. Going more further the most recent away wins came only against teams that play on the level ground.
For this match, Blooming will also be missing their first scorer and the most dangerous attacker Barros(3-3).
Bejarano is back into the Always Ready lineup after a suspension.
If the players of Always Ready can keep their heads cool for once, I believe they will take their first win of the season.
And of course, while I was writing, the odds dropped from 2.6 to 1.90.
