Seattle - Portland
Seattle Sounders welcome Portland Timbers in the return leg of the conference semi-finals of the MLS. Portland has a 2:1 advantage from the first match and all the goals came in the first half early on. Now Seattle will have to be the one to take risks and I highly doubt they will not concede a goal. The first match was quite the leveled one with good chances for both.
Both teams came with good momentum in this play-off and there were 5 points separating the two. Seattle finished second in regular but Portland was the one that excelled in their last away games and entered this play-off. The play-off in which they eliminated Seattle 4 times before. Goals have been coming good for the visitors as the team managed to score 2 or more goals in 4 of their last 5 matches. They also won 4 of those 5. Valeri, Blanco, and Armenteros are peaking lately and are responsible for 31 goals this season. They will be playing today.
Seattle was so convincing in their latest home matches that they won 7 of their last 8. In each of those wins, they scored at least 2 goals and in the last matches 4 on average. So they can depend on their home form and some real talent in their team. Ruidiaz(14-11) has been unstoppable lately.
One of the last teams to beat them here was Portland 2:3.
Today Seattle could miss Jordan Morris, Felix Chenkam, Brad Smith, Cristian Roldan, and Chad Marshal.
Portland is without Roy Miller, Jake Gleeso, and David Guzmán. At least 3 goals should come.
