All football fans are eagerly awaiting the first encounter of the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and the doubles that certainly attract attention are the derby of two English clubs, Liverpool and Manchester City, and a replay of the 2017 final between Juventus and Real madrid.

Sevilla - Bayern Munich

Sevilla and Bayern Munich will meet for the first time in European competitions in the first match of the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Germans are on their way to another title in the Bundesliga after winning 6-0 against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, but their form against Spanish clubs is very bad: they lost on all five recent games in Spain, and have been eliminated by Spanish clubs in the last four season.

Sevilla is undefeated in the last 11 domestic matches against German clubs, but this will be their first appearance in the Champions League quarter-finals, and coach Vincenzo Montella hopes that the experience will only improve the team.

Bayern Munich has been eliminated from the Champions League by Spanish clubs in the last four seasons of this European competition. Twice from Real Madrid, and once from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. At the victory of Seville tonight the odds is 5.20. Despite Bayern´s history Bayern is still a convincing favorite to win the match with odds 1.65.

Robert Lewandowski scored 22 goals in 28 appearances in the Champions League since the start of 2015-16, only Lionel Messi (23) and Cristiano Ronaldo (40) scored more. The odds for Robert Lewadowski to score a goal tonight is 2.00

Juventus - Real Madrid

Juventus will meet Real Madrid in Turin tonight as part of the first game of the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

It will be a repeat of the final of 2017, and the host will hope for a better performance against the Zinedin Zidan´s team and will try to take advantage of the home court before the return match on April 11th. Although they play at home Juventus with 2.90 is not a favorite.

On the other hand, Real Madrid is on the way to the third consecutive title of the Champions League and home win would give them a great advantage over the return match at Santiago Bernabeu. The mild advantage of the bookmaker is given to Real at 2.60.

Real Madrid scored at least 2 goals in 17 of the last 21 matches in the Champions League. Real to score again two goals are at 3.60 tonight.

Liverpool - Manchester City

Reds on Wednesday welcome Manchester City to Anfield in the first match of the quarter-finals of the Champions League, which will be a continuation of rivalry in which 12 goals have been scored in the last two meetings. Liverpool suffered a heavy defeat of 5-0 in Etihad in September after having interrupted City´s series of wins in the league with a 4-3 victory in Anfield in January.

Klopp expects a lot of goals in the Champions League again and admits his team can not afford to play defensively against attacking machinery of the opposing team.

Following the last encounters and the form of both teams, a lot of goals is to be expected in this game. That at Anfield will fall 4 and more goals odds are at 2.55. The draw is at 3.80.

Barcelona - Roma

Barcelona will try to reach first semifinal of this competition for the first time since the 2015 title, by eliminating Rome in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

On the way to the quarterfinals, Barcelona´s last casualty at Camp Nou was Chelsea, which Barca sent home with 3 goals in the net.
