Arsenal - Liverpool
Arsenal play much better under Mikel Arteta, but the current season is lost. The Gunners are ninth in the table with 42 points and they can t go higher. The actual form is solid, they are unbeaten on the last four matches in the Premier League. Even more, they beat Leicester City and Tottenham in the process. Arsenal are also doing well in the UEFA Europe League. Arteta has some injury issues as Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are rated as doubtful with hamstring and hip injury respectively. Granit Xhaka is doubtful through illness and David Luiz is sidelined by a knee problem.
Liverpool are seventh with 46 points, five points away from the Champions League spots. They are out of rhythm at the moment and the season could not be saved. The actual form is awful, six defeats on the last eight league matches. To be worse, Klopp is still without a number of key absentees. Central defenders Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip remain sidelined. Captain Jordan Henderson is also out with a groin issue. Finally, Caoimhin Kelleher and Divock Origi are also injured, but their absence is not important.
I expect an open and efficient match at the Emirats. No Premier League fixture has produced more goals than the 166 between Arsenal and Liverpool. I expect at least three tonight.
