Bayern Munchen - Liverpool
After Bayern 6-0 demolition of Wolfsburg at the weekend, Die Roten currently sit top of the table on goal difference alone, with Borussia Dortmund putting up a really good title challenge thus far.
However, Bayern’s form at the moment is a far cry from their poor showings earlier in the season. They held Liverpool to a useful goalless draw at Anfield last month, and they have now won six of their last seven competitive games. Things get even more promising for them looking at their form at the Allianz Arena, where they have won seven matches on the trot and haven’t lost since October.
This will come as bad news for Liverpool, because they haven’t been quite up to their usual standard of late. They showed a rare defensive lapse against Burnley at the weekend, and while they still managed to win that game 4-2, it did display some alarming warning signs for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The visitors have only won five of their last 12 competitive matches so I m backing host to get the job done tonight and qualify for quarterfinal.
