Germany - Netherlands
Possible starting lineups:
Neuer; Ginter, Sule, Tah; Kehrer, Kimmich, Kroos, Schulz; Gnabry, Werner, Reus
Cillessen; Dumfries, De Ligt, Van Dijk, Blind; Wijnaldum, De Jong, De Roon; Bergwijn, Depay, Babel
I expect Germany to win this match. The home advantage is one of the reasons for my pick, but not the only one. I am sure the fans will give a big support to their players at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg. Germany are in excellent form at the moment. Die Mannschaft won all three matches in Group C and sit on the second position, behind Northern Ireland who also have maximal record, but from four matches. Joachim Low s side managed to beat Netherland with 3:2 in the reverse fixture, Belarus with 2:0 and Estonia with 8:0. The fact they have scored 13 goals on three matches is a fact that should be respected. This match is very important knowing the victory here will be enough to lift the Germans above group leaders Northern Ireland on goal difference. Just to mention, these two national teams will face in Belfast on Monday. Few words about the guests. Netherlands have lost two of the last three competitive games - the reverse fixture with Germany at home, and the Nations League final against Portugal. Coach Ronald Koeman will try to stop the poor series, though I expect another defeat.
