Hungary - Portugal
Hungary drew the short straw at Euro 2020 having been drawn alongside France, Germany and Portugal. The Magyars are unbeaten in 11 have conceded more than one goal in just one game in that run. Portugal have been rocked by the news that Joao Cancelo is absent for the duration of the tournament having recently tested positive for COVID-19. They do have quality in every position across the pitch, however. Portugal have won four of the last five meetings between the two sides, keeping a clean sheet in all four victories, and now stronger than they were in 2016, A Selecao should claim a morale-boosting win to kick off Group F. Dominik Szoboszlai and Zsolt Kalmar are both absent for Hungary this summer. Roland Sallai should be fit enough to start having been absent due to injury recently. Endre Botka may feature in defence alongside Willi Orban and Attila Szalai.
Joao Cancelo recently tested positive for COVID-19 and his Euro 2020 is over, with Diogo Dalot called up as his replacement. It s between Dalot and Nelson Semedo as to who starts at right-back, with the latter likely to deputise. Jose Fonte and Pepe are competing to partner Ruben Dias at the heart of the Portugal defence, with the former perhaps given the nod after playing a central role in Lille s title triumph.
