Italy will host Bosnia and Herzegovina in the qualifications for EURO 2000 at Allianz Stadium. The Azzurri are big favorites, particularly after the last good results. Roberto Mancini s men have maximal record so far - three victories. They managed to beat Finland, Liechtenstein and Turkey, scoring eleven goals and keeping the net untouched. Most of the players are ready, only Leonardo Spinazzola, Cristiano Biraghi and Matteo Politano are struggling with injuries. All three have missed the match against Greece on Saturday.
Bosnia and Herzegovina started with mixed results in the group. They have one win, one draw and one defeat after the first three rounds. The Bosnians won 2:1 against Armenia, played 2:2 with Greece and lost 2:0 to Finland on Saturday. The absence of Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic was the key reason for the defeat. Coach Robert Prosinecki lacked his creativity. What is worse, Pjanic will also miss the match with Italy as he is serving the last of his two-match ban. Sead Kolasinac and Rade Krunic are also out through injuries.
I expect an efficient match here. Italy are hosts and they will go for the fourth victory. Bosnia and Herzegovina are without Pjanic, but still have a solid attacking power. At least three goals should be scored.
