Italy - Wales
Italy are guaranteed a top two finish no matter what happens on Sunday and only need a point to secure first place, though finishing second may offer the kindest knockout route. Wales beat Turkey 2-0 on Wednesday in a huge boost to their chances of qualifying for the knockout stage of their second European Championship in a row. It would require a remarkable swing for them to drop down to third now and even third place with four points should be enough to progress. This is the first meeting between the two sides since 2003 when Italy ran out 4-0 winners with Filippo Inzaghi netting a hat-trick. Italy have scored five of their six goals at the tournament in the second half so expect Roberto Mancini s side to come on strong after the interval.Marco Verratti will hope to make the matchday squad on Sunday but may have to settle for a place on the bench after Manuel Locatelli s brace vs Switzerland.
Look for Francesco Acerbi to replace Giorgio Chiellini, who came off injured in the first half of their 3-0 win over Switzerland in midweek. With qualification secured already, no risks will likely be taken with Alessandro Florenzi here.
Wales are expected to name the same starting eleven for the third game running.
