Kawasaki - Kashiwa
Kawasaki Frontale hosts Kashiwa Reysol in round 31 of the Japanese J1 league. With 4 rounds to play Kawasaki is holding steady on first place with 60 points and 4 more than Hiroshima. The form is also excellent as lately they are picking up mostly wins. Against 17`th placed Kashiwa it shouldn`t be a problem to win but I guess the second-placed Hiroshima thought the same. They lost 0:3 at home.
And truth be told Kawasaki lets you play. Even if they win they have a really shady defense which concedes goals. Playing with a full squad they were eliminated from the cup against the second tier Yamagata 2:3 and a week before they won over Kobe 5:3 but were trailing 1:3 at halftime. They got the firepower to resolve these situations, fortunately. For Kawasaki, all of the last 5 home matches have gone over 3.5 goals.
Kashiwa has really fallen this season and they are just 17`th with 33 points. They have only a point to catch up in 4 round but facing strong opponents will not make it easy. The form is bad as they won just once in 10 matches but that was away @ Hiroshima. Another match in which they almost surprised was against Urawa 2:3 away. Interestingly Kashiwa has more wins away than at home and I wouldn`t write them off just yet. I see them scoring in this match. Kashiwa has 6-1-8 away from home with 21:26 gd.
Kawasaki will be missing Jung Sung-ryong and Kentaro Moriya while Kashiwa misses Toshiya Takagi.
Going with overs in this one.
