Luxembourg - Republic of Ireland
Luxembourg beat Azerbaijan 3-1 away from home on Thursday to end a three-game losing streak in qualification. Ireland are now unbeaten in their last four qualifiers after drawing 0-0 with Portugal on Thursday. Neither side can finish in the top two but Ireland will hope to finish a disappointing campaign on a high with victory on Sunday. The only problem is Ireland have only won one of seven qualifiers to date. Dirk Carlson misses Luxembourg s final group game through suspension due to an accumulation of bookings. Vahid Selimovic will deputise. Gerson Rodrigues played a direct hand in all three of Luxembourg s goals against Azerbaijan but could move out to the left wing here. Ireland have nothing to play for but will be buoyed by their performance against Portugal last time out. James Collins is the only injury problem for the away side. With Thursday s performance in mind, Ireland should really name an unchanged starting XI to face Luxembourg.Pick: 2
