Portugal - Netherlands
Possible starting lineups:
Rui Patricio; Semedo, Dias, Pepe, Guerreiro; Carvalho, Neves, Fernandes; Bernardo Silva; Ronaldo, Felix
Cillessen; Dumfries, De Ligt, Van Dijk, Blind; de Jong, Van de Beek, Wijnaldum; Promes, Memphis, Bergwijn
Portugal have eliminated Switzerland in the semi-final of the UEFA Nations League, winning 3:1. Cristiano Ronaldo scored all three goals for his team. I believe his confidence is very high at the moment. However, coach Fernando Santos has more good strikers, like Bruno Fernandes and Joao Felix. Many big European clubs are linked with the mentioned duo and it is expected to leave Sporting Lisbon and Benfica respectively during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Netherlands managed to eliminate England in the semi-finals. The Oranje won 3:1 after the extra time thanks to the goals scored by De Ligt, Quincy Promes and own goal from Kyle Walker. Coach Ronald Koeman will probably start with Promes here, while the ineffective Babel could drop at the bench. Depay should again lead the attack. Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is tired and could be replaced by Kevin Strootman or Davy Propper.
The last competitive match between Portugal and Netherlands was on 17.06.2012 when Portugal won 2:1. The last played encounter was a friendly game in March last year. The Dutch national team won 3:0.
I expect an interesting match at Estadio do Dragao. At least three goals should be scored in the final.
