St Etienne - Brest
Possible starting line ups:
Ruffier; Debuchy, Moukoudi, Perrin, Trauco; Aholou, M Vila; Hamouma, Boudebouz, Denis Bouanga; Khazri
Larsonneur; Faussurier, Castelletto, Bain, Perraud; Court, Belkebla, Diallo, Grandsir; Autret, Charbonnier
St Etienne are favorites on this match and it is quite normal due to the home advantage. They started Ligue 1 with a victory against Dijon. The result on that match was 2:1 thanks to the goals scored by Romain Hamouma and Jean-Eudes Aholou.
I expect Brest to remain unbeaten here. They were solid in the first round, only unlucky to win. Brest played an 1:1 draw with Toulouse. Mathias Autret scored the goal for Brest in the first half, but Toulouse managed to equalize in the 89th minute. At this point I will mention that Brest were excellent during the pre-season. They recorded three victories and one draw in the preparation period. Brest managed to beat Nantes, Rennes, Guingamp and Lorient, while played draw with Levante. The atmosphere in the squad is positive, while the players confidence is high.
There is another reason for my pick and it s connect with the injuries. The hosts will be without injured Gabriel Silva, Monnet-Paquet and Abi. In addition, three more players are rated as doubtful - Saliba, Fofana and Honorat.
