Humbert - Chardy

The first round of Rotterdam. Two French tennis players, Jeremy Chardy and Ugo Humbert, will compete. I m betting on Humbert s win.

Humbert is a great young left-handed player who plays quite aggressively, and has great shots from the baseline. He didn t start the season very well in Australia, where he was defeated in the first round of Melbourne, then in the second round of the Australian Open against Kyrgios, where he missed many chances to win. Chardy, on the other hand, is a veteran, above-average server with a great forehand but throughout his career he has had problems with the backhand side, which is desperate, and mostly because of that he has not achieved more serious results in his career. I believe that Humbert will create huge problems for Chardy when he serves, because with his wide serve he will constantly shoot Chardy s backhand and with that tactic he will reach easy points. Chardy has a pretty bad ratio against left-handed tennis players in his career, and also some top left-handed tennis players reached top results with backhand serving tactics (for example Federer Nadal).
