Korda - Ivashka

In this match of the first round of ATP tournament in Washington Sebastien Korda will play against Ilya Ivashka. These two players have met once and in that match Korda won in straight sets. That match has been played two years ago and both players have improved a lot since that match.

Ivashka is slightly better ranked than Korda. Korda has lost three matches in a row. He is having a lot of problems with injuries in last six months or so. That has taken its toll on his game. I believe he was calibrating his form for the American series of tournaments. I expect him to beat Ivashka once again. It will not be easy as it was couple of years back.
