Danil Medvedev and Richard Gasquet are going to play at ATP Geneva in the first round match for world number 2. Danil Medvedev. Danil Medvede has not played since Miami because he had some injury and took some time to recover. He is going to be back this week at Geneva where he is going to play his first match back and first match in a while and a first match of the season on the clay.

Danil Medvedev is probably the best player on the hard courts but he has everything to be a solid player on clay. He said that he does not love clay but he has all the prerequsites to play solid clay court tennis and I believe in his future he will be a better clay court player. As of right now he can not contend for highest tournaments with Zverev, Tsitsipas, Alcaraz, Nadal, Berretini, Djokovic on clay but he is top10, top15 player on clay and Gasquet is at the end of his career so this should be perfect tune up match for Medvedev ahead of this tournament and Roland Garros.
