In the second round of the WTA tournament in Washington, we are expecting a duel between Ludmila Samsonova and Ajla TOmljanovic.

Samsonova is in a pretty bad shape, looking at the last 10 matches, where she has only 3 wins, and besides, she doesn t play anything special on concrete this season, so she has 7 wins and 7 losses. Yesterday, she made a big surprise for me by winning over MErtens in two sets, although it is women s tennis and nothing is strange.

Tomljanovic, on the other hand, is in very good shape, she has even won 7 of her last 10 matches, which is remarkable. Here, in the first round, she beat Stephens with a very convincing game and announced a good tournament for her.

I m tipping the win here. Tomljanovic is in much better shape lately, while the opposite is the case with Samsonova, and I think it will be difficult for her to pull off another surprise.
